At face value, there isn’t much dispersion between the current crop of UK and Eurozone data. Both had solid expansionary PMIs today. While their respective wage data this week suggests that the BoE and the ECB potentially face the same risk as the Fed in terms of robust labour markets supporting service inflation (“Service Inflation: The Fed’s Dilemma” 13th May).
